Pastor Eric McCLain was born and raised in Kennett Square, PA. His mother is Mary McClain of Kennett Square, PA and his father is Bishop Allen Malone of Tuscon Arizona. He is married to Evangelist Terri McCLain. They have two daughters, Joelle and Erica. He accepted Christ in 1996 and joined New Garden UAME Church where Rev. Dr. Delores J. Loper was the pastor. Pastor McClain served as a trustee, youth leader and choir member. He answered the call to preach and teach the word in 1998. He graduated from Boulden Seminary in 2001 with a bachelors degree in theology. The retired Bishop George Wallace Poindexter sent him out to pastor the day after he was ordained a deacon in the UAME church. He Pastored St. James UAME church for 14 years. In May of 2015 he was assigned to Mt. Zion UAME church in Newark, DE. Pastor McClain had been anointed by God to preach and teach the word. He believes in allowing the holy spirit to have his way in the lives of God’s people. Pastor McCLain not only preaches and teaches the word but he applies the word to his daily life.
